My family and I transferred to the USA in 2014 We chose Memphis as our second home to begin fresh and construct a much better future.
When I graduated high school in 2020, I decided to sign up with the Military Reserve so I could function full time to help support my family monetarily. In the process, my parents constantly reminded me of the significance of an university level. Honestly, I struggled with the choice in between selecting work over school.
That transformed when I uncovered the University of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I could gain my degree 100 % online from a recognized, nationally recognized Carnegie R 1 college. The versatility of the program made it possible to stabilize work, life, and education. As soon as I signed up, I understood I made the ideal option.
As an online pupil, I remained involved with campus life via career fairs and joining trainee organizations like the Culture of Human Resource Monitoring. I wished to get one of the most out of my college experience and connect with people who shared my enthusiasm for HR.
Last November, I deployed to Kuwait, with a month left of loss semester. Thanks to the support and framework of UofM Global, I had the ability to complete solid, also making the Dean’s Checklist. I’m taking 4 classes while serving on active service, and I’m pleased to state I’ll be finishing in May.
Being able to serve my nation, support my family members, and gain my degree implies the globe to me. I really feel ready to take on whatever comes next.
